THE ROLE: LONG-FORM VIDEO EDITOR
This role is for someone who:
✓ Lives and breathes long-form content and YouTube
✓ Studies retention curves and knows how to keep viewers watching
✓ Doesn't wait to be told what to improve — they bring the analysis and the fix
✓ Wants to earn more by making videos that outperform (uncapped bonuses)
✓ Can deliver 19 videos/month without being micromanaged

COMPENSATION — GET PAID TO PRODUCE GREAT CONTENT
$800 USD/month minimum
Your income safety net. Even if content production has a slow month on our side, you still earn $800. This protects you — not us.
Condition:
$3.00 USD per edited minute
$1,200/month
Episode trailers are included as part of the podcast delivery — not billed separately.
+$75 per video that hits 3X
Every video that significantly outperforms the channel average earns you $75. No cap on how many outliers you can hit. One great month of 8+ outliers = $600+ in bonuses on top of your base.
How the 3X bonus works:
- Start of month: We calculate last 30-day average views per channel (PWG YouTube + Fondako YouTube)
- Threshold = Average × 3 per channel
- End of month: Count videos that exceeded 3X on each channel
- You earn $75 for every single hit
Example:
- PWG YouTube avg: 800 views → 3X threshold = 2,400
- Fondako YouTube avg: 1,200 views → 3X threshold = 3,600
First 2 months — Fixed Benchmarks (growing channels):

WHAT WE EXPECT
Quality Standards:
- 48-72 hour turnaround per podcast episode (full edit + trailer)
- 48 hour turnaround per YouTube video
- Retention-optimized editing (tight pacing, pattern interrupts, no dead air, engaging first 30 seconds)
- Professional audio mixing (clean levels, noise removal, music beds where appropriate)
- On-brand graphics, lower thirds, and transitions
- Color correction and visual consistency across all content
- Zero errors in audio sync, text overlays, or transitions
- Max 1 round of revisions per video
Proactive Performance Ownership
Weekly Performance Report (mandatory):
- Every Friday you submit a Top 3 / Bottom 3 report:
- Your 3 best-performing videos (what worked & how to replicate — include retention %)
- Your 3 worst-performing videos (what failed & what you're changing — include retention %)
- 1-2 new editing techniques or pacing styles you're testing next week
Communication & Attendance:
- Show up on time to all meetings, camera on, correct name
- 2 missed/late meetings in a month = performance review
- Feedback is applied immediately — don't repeat mistakes after they've been communicated
Performance Floor:
- 0 outliers for 2 consecutive months = formal review
- 3 consecutive months of 0 outliers = termination
- This is non-negotiable
